Port Tanger in an eyewear brand founded in 2020 by stylist Vanessa Reid and her husband, photographer Bibi Borthwick. Inspired by the city of Tangier in Morocco, the brand is completely handcrafted in Japan with high-quality materials, a touch of nostalgia, state-of the-art manufacturing and a universal outlook. The Brand's philosophy and design language is understated and elegant with elements of its North African heritage. The brand's multicultural values go hand-in hand with cutting-edge manufacturing processes. Port Tangier seeks to embody and evoke the city itself, the mediterranean, poetry and travel which are transformed into a design concept and ethos whilst preserving concepts such as personal stories, memories, different cultures and the beauty of the natural landscape of the mediterranean.
