MARINA YEE

Marina Yee is a Belgian designer with Cinese heritage, who is a member of the Antwerp 6 collective. She has always kept a low profile compared to the other members of the group, mainly because she has created collections but refused to adopt a commercial model and stick to deadlines. Leaving the collective allowed Marina to express herself in new forms, working on stage costumes and up-cycling garments; anticipating the era of sustainable fashion, by creating bold, futuristic, visionary and timeless collections sourced from second-hand materials in flea markets.
