A: Do you remember the moment when you fell in love with fashion?

N.V: When I first read manga, you know, there was a Japanese comic book and I used to sketch all the time the outfits they would have. And sometimes they were like fantasy and completely crazy.

A: Who are your dearest collaborators?

N.V: I was lucky enough to work with Olivier Zam from Purple Magazine, who's become a dear friend, and we work quite often together. So do I work with Charles de Villemorin as well, who is a French couturier. We have very different worlds, but when we create together, it creates this absolute crazy, crazy magic. Obviously, I'm working a lot with Vogue Adria Filip Koludrovic, who's a very dear friend of mine and a photographer.

A: What drives you as an artist?

N.V: What drives me is maybe seeing the lack of creativity in editorials or in stylings. And it drives me to meet myself, be way more creative and push the thinking when I do an editorial, when I style a talent, to actually have a storyline, to actually create a world with the editorial, with the images that I’m producing, instead of just putting clothes on some models.

A: Who is the fashion icon you would go to a desert island with?

N.V: Karl Lagerfeld
