Ancellm was founded in 2021 in Kojima which is located in the Okayama Prefecture in Japan, a world-renowned denim production area. The concept of the Brand is “Proposals for changes over time from a different perspective”, which involves the beauty of garments changing and evolving over time, making each piece unique, crafted with outstanding traditional techniques and a unique interpretation. Each season vast amounts of samples are viewed by buyers, which makes it challenging to offer something which really stands out. The aim is to impress connoisseurs with a charm that is impossible to explain. Each item is crafted by designer Kazuya Yamachika with such a precise and impeccable level of craftsmanship it could be seen as old or second-hand.
