VETEMENTS is a team of individuals with a strong creative and technical profile. All the members of the team were key figures of the historical team of Maison Martin Margiela. It was founded in a Paris living room with a simple mission: to bring fashion’s focus back on clothes. The initiative to create VETEMENTS comes from the will to further develop design aesthetics lost in conspicious consumption and to establish a genuine and powerful creative network outside of the established frame, sharing a talent for synthesising a new street reality in the collections.
