S.S Daley is the eponymous brand which was launched through instagram in 2020, won the LVMH prize in 2022 and the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design in 2024. Steven Stokey-Daley is the man behind the brand, a working-class boy from Liverpool whose unique identity reinterprets the inherent femininity which can be found in the hyper-masculine British upper classes. After working in Alexander Mcqueen’s and Tom Ford’s menswear design teams, Daley gained worldwide attention when he created pieces for Harry Styles’ music video. The singer who bought a minority stake in the brand, has always supported the designer since the beginning. For SS25 Daley presented his first womenswear collection which became one of the highlights of London fashion week. The designer applied the same principles to the women’s androgynous collection by blurring the codes of menswear and womenswear to they point where they start to overlap.
