THIBAULT VAN DER STRAETE

Thibault Van Der Straete is the French designer who founded his namesake Peru-based brand in 2014. He has always had a strong cultural engagement with the country. He has always been fascinated with Vintage Alpaca Ponchos which he started collecting and transforming into rugs, sofas and ottomans, giving them a new meaning. He has been living in Lima since 2008 where he runs his company that produces sweaters, blankets, and vintage ponchos which he transforms into furniture. Thibault has refurbished a colonial house, transformed into a unique space with high-quality clothing, furniture, books, other Peruvian goods and a café.
