Kenzo Takada founded Kenzo in 1970. He is responsible for bringing haute couture fashion closer to ready-to-wear. Elaborate, tailor-made and elegant clothes didn’t do it for him. He was a fan of "happy Clothes". Colorful clothes, which freed the body of those who wore them, bringing joy and energy. These values continue to coexist with the brand today, creating fashion that celebrates diversity, joy of living and sophistication. kenzo’s current designer is Nigo, the founder of A Bathing Ape and producer of artists like Pusha T and Kid Cudi.
