Miista is an independent brand founded in London in 2012 by Laura Villasenin. The designer’s aesthetic is influenced by her Spanish roots and the vibrant avantgarde atmosphere of East London, the city which has inspired and shaped Miista’s collections. Each piece is handmade in Spain and Portugal yet follows the tune and dialogue of the city. Laura’s wish is to inspire younger generations and make them appreciate and develop craftsmanship, quality standards, technical skills and consistency which have been achieved thanks to Miista’s strong focus on product, community, and process.
