Forme D'Expression was founded by Italian Korean designer Koeun Park in Perugia, Italy in 2005. Her collections feature draped luxurious Italian fabrics with straight yet delicate silhouettes. The Seoul National University graduate was born in 1972 and studied at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne as well as doing an apprenticeship in maison Haute Couture in Paris. She then moved to Milan where she started designing for Giorgio Armani's black label and then for Donna Karan in New York. The understated elegance and simplicity of her collections are uniquely artisanal as she puts a lot of emphasis on attention to detail and prepares each piece one by one before the sewing process, giving a touch of her meticulous approach.
