Recto uomo

RECTO is an independent Korean fashion brand founded by Chang Jian in 2015. Recto has two meanings, "the right page of the book" in English and "the front of the paper" in French which is a reflection of the brand's neutral and formal aesthetic. The elements in men's and women's collections are very similar and vary with slight details or subtly modified cuts. The boundaries between what is masculine and feminine is blurred, the collections usually tell the same stories and grow out of the same vision. The award-winning designer Ji Yeon Jung is currently at the helm of Recto where she is committed to creating refined genderless collections and achieving perfection through a combination classic minimalism and simple yet intricate detailing, redefining contemporary elegance.
