Founded in Berlin in 2003, the first MYKITA headquarters were in a children's nursery, called Kita in German. This inspired not only the name My Kita, but also the culture of curiosity and play. It all started with a clear aesthetic vision and a desire to do things on their own. The brand was born with the same independent and pioneering spirit that shaped the hometown of Berlin. From the very beginning, the company opted for in-house production and the development of tools and processes that met the design requirements of MYKITA.
