ROKH

Rok Hwang was born in South Korea and grew up in Texas and the UK. He moved to London in 2004 to study an MA in womenswear at Central Saint Martins. Rok began working with Phoebe Philo as a freelance ready-to-wear designer at Céline and Louis Vuitton. In 2018 he won a grant of €150.000 with the LVMH special prize which helped him structure and build his brand. The London-Based luxury label offers elegant and adaptable womenswear collections which play with the contrast between femininity and masculinity, reconstructing classic and timeless yet contemporary silhouettes with a unique and sensual twist. The brand's concept is in constant flux, each collection promotes self-discovery and disruptiveness, distancing itself as much as possible from a seasonal approach to fashion.
