Founded by Kurdish-Swedish siblings Dilan and Lezan Lurr, Namacheko merges engineering, tailoring, craft, and cultural identity into a distinctive contemporary language. Shaped by their background in civil engineering and experience between Kurdistan and Sweden, the label treats clothing as constructed objects, exploring proportion, structure, and material. European tailoring meets Middle Eastern references, contemporary art, and textile traditions, informed by themes of displacement, memory, and belonging. Engineered silhouettes, unconventional construction, intricate knitwear, and developed fabrics reflect Namacheko’s philosophy of reconstructing familiar forms and creating new relationships between heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary dress
