Cosmetic cult brand 19-69 was founded by the Swedish artist and product developer Johan Bergelin, with a true passion for creative processes such as art, fashion and music. During the 90s Bergelin started a successful career as a fashion and beauty photographer. With an extraordinary eye for fashion as well as beauty, he began working with Vanity Fair and British GQ. In addition, Bergelin directed, shot and produced nearly 60 high quality coffee table books about beauty trends. Bergelin says the name of the brand 19-69 is a very powerful statement:"the year 1969 represents an era of freedom".
