Lisa Von Tang is a Canadian born Chinese German designer. She founded her namesake brand in 2017, which is based in Singapore and works with creative teams based in Milan with production split between Asia and Italy. The brand values are based on sustainability, as over half of the fabrics used for their collections are sourced from luxury dead stock suppliers and tends to employ natural fibers such as Hemp, Bamboo, Recycled Nylon, Organic Cotton, and Crop-waste. Her collections tend to reflect her personal philosophy: the balance between yin and yang, the masculine and the feminine as well as her multicultural perspective of the world. “I am intrigued by people who belong to more than one culture. I appreciate the way different tribes tend to brush up against each other and create 'third cultures' in special pockets in the world".
