A: What is your first memory of music?
My first memory of music was probably when I was two or three, and I was dancing to a specific song, it's a very classic Arabic song, at my grandparents' house, because they took care of me a lot. And they used to have these hardwood floors, and I used to dance, and they used to clap for me, and my feet would stick to the bottom of the wood, and it would pull the wood off, because it was very old. And that's my first memory ever, and it's also my first memory with music.

A: What do you enjoy most about your job?
I always, in the beginning, was saying it's all about the music and I just want to play music and then I realized it's also about people. And one of my favourite things is travelling and making, like the world feels really small because I'm seeing familiar faces in different pockets of the world and it just feels like a small community.

A: How do you see music and fashion connected?
For me, they're just the same in that they're both a form of expressions. So with music, you play or listen to what you're feeling in the moment. It can change your mood. Every outfit can change your mood. And music can be the same. You put something
on, it's just the backdrop to your live soundtrack. And it can change your mood too, so it's kind of just the same.

A: What advice would you give to those who want to get into the music industry?
If you want it in your heart, then don't let anything stop you. And there will be tough
days where you doubt yourself. And if you really want it, you have to push through
that. And everyone experiences this, I think, all the time, so just push through that.
